Creating Colour

Photographer Michelle Duckett asked me to be the makeup artist for a portfolio shoot at Herts Uni. We've worked together several times and I was very excited to do a studio shoot which I had not done before. Also, the brief was bright and colourful so I was keen to get involved and experiment with my new eyeshadow palette!






After doing some research I started to get creative and explored various colour combinations around the eyes. I really enjoyed this and it was surprisingly easy to do, once the colours had been decided it was just a case of working in the colour and blending well. Due to the fact that the shoot was a beauty studio shoot I was aware that the makeup would have to be flawless in order for it to look amazing in the photos, so I made sure I practiced beforehand and knew where I wanted the colour to go. Here are the finished results:





I was so thrilled with the result, both Michelle and model Rosie Hart did extremely well and the photos look very professional. See how easy creating colour can be?
